Dear Mr. President:
We are very glad and honored to learn
about your visit to Perú on the 23rd of March of this year. Your visit
will reassure our commitment to freedom, democracy and commerce.
Since November 2001, we at the Peruvian-American
Chamber of Commerce, are very involved in the organization of the First
Annual International Trade Show PERUSAexpo 2002, to be held on October
11th and 12th, 2002 at the Radisson Merchandise Mart Hotel in Miami, Florida.
This event will join the most important
Trade and Commerce Organizations of Perú, like AMCHAM ( The American -
Peruvian Chamber of Commerce), ADEX (Association of Exporters), Cámara de
Comercio de Lima, SNI (Sociedad Nacional de Industrias), Canatur (National
Chamber of Tourism) and the sponsorship of PROMPEX, (The Peruvian Goverment
office promoting International fairs and trade shows).
We have made plans to officially announce
this important event during the week of March 23rd with a press
conference to be held at the Sheraton Hotel in Lima, Perú.
We would be deeply honored if during your
visit to Perú, this announcement could be included in the official agenda of your
trip.
